Instructions
Waist
Using your waist size, fdc approximately 2 inches shorter than your size using a 10 plus 7 repeat. (If you are a 34C, then you beginning ch should measure 32 inches not stretched).
R1: Ch2, dc in each stitch across.
R2- R6: Repeat R1.
For longer top Repeat R1 until 2 inches shorter than the desired length.
R7: Ch2, dc in first 6 dc. *Ch5, skip next 3 dc, dc in next 7 dc*. Repeat until the end of the row.
R8: Ch2, dc in 5 dc. *Ch7, skip next dc and ch-space of previous row and next dc, dc in next 5 dc*. Repeat until the end of the row.
R9: Ch2, dc in 3 dc. *Ch9, skip next dc and ch-space of previous row and next dc, dc in next 3 dc*. Repeat until the end of the row.
Bra Cups (Make 2)
To create your cup size, take the width of the bra cup, at the widest section. You could also measure yourself, with the tape measuring going over the nipple at the widest point of the breast. Divide your measurement in half; this will give you the length of your ch. If your bra cup measured 6 inches in the widest part, then your ch will measure 3 inches long. This is perfect if each of your breasts are of different sizes.
R1: Sc in second ch from the hook and in each ch across. Ch1, turn.
R2: Sc in each sc across. Ch1, turn.
Repeat row 2 until the width and length of your piece are the same. You should have a square at this point. At the end of the last row of your square, make 3 sc in last stitch and continue working down the side of your piece, with one sc in each row. Ch1, turn. (If you had 13 rows, you should have 13 sc down the side of your piece.) From this point on, you will be working in a half-moon.
R3: Sc in each sc of the side row and row 2. Ch1, turn.
Repeat row 3 until you have as many rows as you did with the first section (the square section). Fasten off. Leave a long tail at the end of each cup.
Joining
With a darning needle and the curved side of both bra cups facing each other, position the two bra cups so that they sit at equal distances from the middle of the body (I positioned them each 1 stitch from the middle point so that there was a total of 2 st between them).
Make sure that the front of the bikini top and the front of the body are facing each other, pin them into place. Using the long tail from the bra cups top, sew the top and body together. Repeat for the second bra cup.
Bow
Counting 7 sts from the join up the side of your cup (between the 2 cups), attach yarn to the 8th stitch.
R1: Sc in the next 4 sts. Ch1, turn.
R2- R10: Sc in each sc. Ch1, turn
R11: Sc in 1st sc, sc2ther in 2, sc in last st. Ch1, turn.
R12: Sc across. Ch1, turn. (3 sc)
R13- R14: Repeat row 12.
R15: Sc in 1st st, sc2gether. Ch1, turn.
R16: Sc across. Ch1, turn. (2 sc)
R17: Sc2geter. Fasten off.
Repeat on other cup.
Straps
R1: Attach yarn to the top of bra cup, sc up the side in next 5 sts. Ch1, turn.
R2: Sc in each sc. Ch1, turn.
R3- 53: Repeat R2.
Repeat on the other side. Attach to the back of piece.
Finishing
If you chose the buttons, attach to the back of your piece with darning needle. Turning chs of opposite side with serve as buttonholes. If you choose to use the gather back, ch 200, and weave it through the loops of the back. Tie with a bow.

Hi I didn’t see a guage. Is there one?
No Dana, since it is written recipe style you would only need to ensure you take your body measurements correctly to get the right fit.
