Papiyon Shawlette

I designed this shawlette with yarn from Robin @birchhollowfibers and Shobha @serendipitouswool. Shobha and Robin are the dyers behind the wonderful collaboration that is Yarn Journeys Book Club: A yarn club that highlights and celebrates beautiful stories from BIPOC children’s authors. This club was created to showcase the importance of young children seeing themselves represented in the books they read or that are read to them.

Materials

• Two (2) 50g skeins of fingering weight yarn; 1 variegated yarn and 1 coordinating semi-solid.
• Measuring tape
• Darning needle
• Stitch markers
• Hook: 4mm|G6

Finished size: Wingspan: 40 inches. Depth 15 inches.
